Millard F. Nixon VFW Post 9612

Camp Zama, Japan

Commander

District II – Japan

Department of the Pacific

SUBJECT:  Quarterly Report for January, 2005

Commander Hunter,

This past quarter has been a busy and semi-prosperous time for us here.

Our membership has grown to a little over 100%.  All of our Community Service reports have been submitted to the Department Junior Vice Commander.  We have continued working within the Camp Zama community.  This past December we were well represented at the Department of Pacific Areas mid-term council of administration by Barney Patsel, Department Commander and Richard Keeley, Department Adjutant.

Our canteen is proving itself to be a popular hangout for many of the Zama veterans and if we can get a couple of young pretty bartenders, our business should greatly improve.  I want to personally invite you and all the members of the District II council to come to Camp Zama and sit down and enjoy our camaraderie.

This concludes my quarterly report.

                                                                                    Yours in Comradeship,

                                                                                    MATTHEW THACKERY

                                                                                    Commander
