Hubbard assumed duties as Commander District VII (Philippines). - The June Pup Tent 15 Scratch was held 23 June. In attendance were Grand Commander B.K. Attendance included Seam Squirrel Buddy McGuire, Grand Commander B.K. Hubbard, Past Grand Commander John Welsh, Grand Inspector Jerry Prinz, Grand Chief of Staff Al Mitchell and Grand Adjutant Ron Barker. - The July Scratch was held 21 August. Eighteen Cooties were in attendance including Grand Commander B.K. Hubbard and Past Grand Commander John Welsh. Hospital visits for the month: 67 - Pup Tent 15 hosted a luncheon/swim call for 47 Angeles City area street children on 11 August. The event was held at the Bonanza Hotel. Attendance included Seam Squirrel Buddy McGuire, Grand Commander B.K. Hubbard, Past Grand Commander John Welsh, Grand Chief of Staff Al Mitchell, Grand Inspector Jerry Prinz, Grand Adjutant Ron Barker, Past Seam Squirrel Ralph Milward, Past Seam Squirrel Werner Koslovski, Cootie Ken Miller and Cootie Dale Wyman. - Grand Commander B.K. Hubbard and Past Grand Commander Emory Russell attended the August Scratch of Kuto - Pup Tent 7. - Junior Past Grand Commander Bill Wichmann selected as an All Star Commander for 2001-2001. Cootie Wichmann is the third consecutive Grand Pacific All Star Commander. Grand Quartermaster Don Webster was selected as an All Star Quartermaster and Grand Adjutant Jerry Prinz was named an All Star Grand Adjutant. - On 18 August, Grand Commander B.K. Hubbard and Cootie Jack Turner attended the Long Tan Observance, sponsored by the Returned & Services League (RSL) of Australia, Angeles City Branch. Long Tan was a battle of the Viet Nam War involving Australian Forces. - Junior Past Grand Commander Bill Wichmann and Grand Quartermaster Don Webster attended the Supreme Scratch in Milwaukee, 23-25 August - Grand Quartermaster Don Webster was appointed to the 2001-2002 Supreme By-Laws Committee. - Hospital visits for the month of August: 218 - On 12 September, Pup Tent 15 sponsored a luncheon to honor Rob Williams, owner/manager of the Bonanza Hotel, as the MOC, Grand Pacific Outstanding Outside Contributor to a Pup Tent. The luncheon was held at the Post home and attendees included Seam Squirrel Buddy McGuire, Grand Commander B.K. Hubbard, Past Grand Commander John Welsh, Cooties Ralph Milward, Lafayette Donaldson, Cecil “Doc” Johnson, Dale Wyman, Ron Barker, Al Mitchell, Ken Schaefer and members of the Angeles City Community. - Seam Squirrel Buddy McGuire, Grand Commander B.K. Hubbard, Past Grand Commander John Welsh and Cooties of Pup Tent 15 attended the National VFW Patriotic Weekend activities at Post 2485 and American Legion Post 123. - Hospital visits for the month of September: 46 - On 4 October, Grand Commander B.K. Hubbard, Grand Chief of Staff Al Mitchell, Grand Inspector Jerry Prinz and Grand Adjutant Ron Barker attended the October Scratch of Kuripots - Pup Tent 11 in Barrio Barretto. - Cooties of Pup Tent 15 supported the Post Social on 13 October. The Social was held at the Bonanza Hotel in Angeles City. Attendees included Seam Squirrel Buddy McGuire, Blanket Bum Jerry Prinz, Grand Commander B.K. Hubbard, Past Grand Commander John Welsh, Junior Past Seam Squirrel Lafayette Donaldson, Cooties Ron Barker, Ken Miller, Dale Wyman and Earl Dodge. Cooties Dan Burns and Jim Billman of Kuripots - Pup Tent 11 were also in attendance. - Hospital visits for the month October: 60 - Grand Commander B.K. Hubbard and Cootie John Wallace, Bull Conchs - Pup Tent 3, visited the grave of Past Grand Commander Don Clinard at the Guam Military Cemetery. - Grand Commander B.K. Hubbard attended the October Scratch of Bull Conchs - Pup Tent 3. - On 10 November, Pup Tent 15 hosted Philippine Swarming VIII. Attendance included Cooties from Pup Tent 7 and Pup Tent 11. Pup Tent 15 Cooties in attendance were Seam Squirrel Buddy McGuire, Grand Commander B.K. Hubbard, Blanket Bum Jerry Prinz, Hide Gimlet Al Mitchell, Cooties Ken Miller, Ron Barker, Cecil Johnson and Ken Schaefer. Hospital visits for the Month: 7 - On 17 November, Grand Commander B.K. Hubbard and Past Grand Commander John Welsh and Cooties from Pup Tent 15 Cooties, wives and significant others supported the Beagles in their Appreciation Night. Cootie Leroy Gradney, Pup Tent 9, also attended. - Seam Squirrel Buddy McGuire, Blanket Bum Jerry Prinz, Hide Gimlet Al Mitchell and Grand Commander B.K. Hubbard attended the 10^th Annual Chili Cook-Off at the Bali Hai Resort in La Union. Cooties Ron Barker, Ken Schaefer, Ralph Milward also attended. The Pup Tent entered the MOC section of the Chili Cook-Off, finishing second. The Chili Cook-Off is sponsored by Kuto - Pup Tent 7 and Post 9892. - Pup Tent 15 Cooties along with wives, girl friends and significant other assisted the Post in the Pearl Buck Christmas Party. Also in attendance Ray Sisk, Grand of California - Pup Tent 9 (National VFW Senior Vice Commander in Chief); Marcus Butler, Grand of Alaska - Pup Tent 4 (VFW District 16 National Council Member) and Gary Kurpius, Department of Alaska candidate for VFW National Junior Vice Commander (PT 15 Cootie). - On 10 December, the Post hosted a working breakfast/briefing on the Clark Cemetery for VFW National Senior Vice Commander Ray Sisk; VFW National District 16 Council Member Marcus Butler; and Gary Kurpius, Commander, Department for Alaska. Cooties of Pup Tent 15 were in attendance. The group was invited to a walking tour of the cemetery after the breakfast/briefing. - On 10 December, the Post hosted a Social in honor of VFW National Senior Vice Commander Ray Sisk; Marcus Butler; VFW District 16 National Council Member; and Gary Kurpius, Commander, Department for Alaska. Cooties In attendance included Seam Squirrel Buddy McGuire, Grand Commander B.K. Hubbard, Cooties Jerry Prinz, Bill Wichmann, Bob Zaher, Kenneth Schaefer, Don Webster, Orville Humfleet, Ron Barker, Roy Banning and Ken Miller. Also in attendance were Grand Senior Vice Commander Butch Malone, Pup Tent 1; Bob Henault, Pup Tent 10; Ken Tretow, Pup Tent 8, Numerous wives, friends and significant others were also present. - Hospital visits for the Month of December: 7 - On 12 January, the Pup Tent hosted a luncheon/swim call for 55 Angeles City Street Children. This event was held at the Bonanza Hotel in Angeles City. Seam Squirrel Buddy McGuire and Seven PT 15 Cooties were in attendance. - Grand Commander B.K. Hubbard and Blanket Bum Jerry Prinz attended the January Scratch of Maeng Das - Pup Tent 6 in Pattaya Beach, Thailand. - The January Scratch was held on the 19^th. Hospital visits for the Month: 24 - On 26 January, the Post fielded a team in the Australia Day Fiesta Curry Cook-Off. The team was captained by Canteen Manager Mike Harrington and Cootie Stu Dougherty. The VFW Team took Second Place in the Curry Cook-Off. - On 6 February, Seam Squirrel Buddy McGuire, Grand Commander B.K. Hubbard, Cooties Jerry Prinz, Ken Schaefer, Stu Dougherty and Bob Zaher attended the Post 124 Fun Day held at the Safari Lodge, Baguio. Earlier in the Day Cooties Zaher and Dougherty participated in the Post 124 Golf Tournament. - On 7 February, Seam Squirrel Buddy McGuire, Grand Commander B.K. Hubbard, Cooties Jerry Prinz, Ken Schaefer, Cecil Johnson visited the Heinz Woelke Blind School in Baguio. Past All Star Grand Commander Emory Russell, Tom Morrison and Herman Francisco, members of Kuto - Pup Tent 11, a sponsor of the school, accompanied Pup Tent 15 members on the school visit. The Pup Tent donated 38 jars of peanut butter and mayonnaise (ranging from small to very large) to the school, - The February Scratch was held on the 23^rd. Hospital visits for the Month: 33 - On 2 March, Grand Commander B.K. Hubbard attended the 50^th Anniversary Celebration for VFW Post 9612 at Post Canteen, Camp Zama, Japan. - Grand Commander B.K. Hubbard attended the 4 March Scratch of Gecko/Habu - Pup Tent 9 in Okinawa. - On 8 March, Grand Commander B.K. Hubbard installed in-coming Seam Squirrel Dan Burns and the officers of Kuripots - Pup Tent 11. The installation was conducted at the Post 11447 Canteen, Barrio Barretto. Also present were Seam Squirrel Buddy McGuire, Grand Chief of Staff Al Mitchell, Grand Inspector Jerry Prinz, Grand Adjutant Ron Barker and Grand Master of Ceremonies Ken Schaefer. - On16 March, the monthly Scratch was held. The new Pup Tent pin went on sale on this date. Hospital visits for the Month: 33 - On 2 April, Seam Squirrel Buddy McGuire, Grand Commander B.K. Hubbard, Seam Squirrel (elect) Jerry Prinz, Hide Gimlet Al Mitchell and Clark Cemetery Maintenance Supervisor Ed Rubio attended a Memorial Ceremony to Commemorate the 60^th Anniversary of the Battle of Bataan. The ceremony was held at the American Cemetery, Manila. Also in attendance were Senator Daniel Inouye, Hawaii; Senator Ted Stevens, Alaska; US Ambassador Francis J. Ricciardone, members of the Battling Bastards of Bataan and approximately 15 survivors of the Death March. - Grand Commander B.K. Hubbard and Cootie Ken Schaefer attended the Fleet Reserve Association (FRA) Frolics (yearly fund raiser) in San Antonio, Zambales on 5 April. - On 7 April, Grand Commander B.K. Hubbard attended the Bataan Death March Memorial sponsored by the Battling Bastards of Bataan. The Memorial was held at the Capas National Shrine at Capas, Tarlac. - Post 2485 held it’s 3^rd Annual VFW Death March Memorial at the Capas National Shrine on 9 April. Hubbard, Seam Squirrel (elect) Jerry Prinz, Hide Gimlet Al Mitchell, Past Grand Commander John Welsh, Cooties Earl Dodge, Ron Barker, Ken Miller, Ralph Milward, Lafayette Donaldson, Thaddeus Stryminski, Post 2485 members, members from American Legion Post 94, American Legion Post 123, RSL, Shrine Oasis, DAV, SFA, Vietnam Veterans and the Veterans Federation of the Philippines were present. LCL Christian, USA, JUSTMAG Philippines represented the U.S. Embassy. - On 16 April, Pup Tent 15 Cooties attended a luncheon in honor of Secretary Anthony J. Principi, Department of Veterans Affairs. The luncheon was sponsored by Veterans Federation of the Philippines and held at the Manila Hotel. In attendance were Past Grand Commander John Welsh, Hide Gimlet Al Mitchell and Cooties Ron Barker and Ken Schaefer. - On 16 April, U.S. Ambassador Francis J. Ricciardone held a reception in honor of Secretary Anthony J. Principi, Department of Veterans Affairs. The reception was held at the Ambassador’s residence in Manila. Cooties in attendance were Seam Squirrel Buddy McGuire, Grand Commander B.K. Hubbard, Seam Squirrel (elect) Jerry Prinz, Past Grand Commander John Welsh and Cootie Cecil Johnson. Also in attendance were Past Grand Commander Emory Russell and Cootie Tim Aukshun, Kuto - Pup Tent 7. - The April Scratch was held on the 20^th, Attendance included Grand Commander B.K. Hubbard, Past Grand Commander John Welsh and Past Grand Commander Bill Wichmann. Hospital visits for the Month: 16 - Kuto - Pup Tent 7 hosted Philippine Swarming IX at La Union on 24 April. Pup Tent 15 Cooties in attendance included Seam Squirrel Buddy McGuire, Grand Commander B.K. Hubbard, Blanket Bum Jerry Prinz, Cooties, Ron Barker, Al Mitchell, Ken Schaefer and Tom Elliott. - On 25 April, Pup Tent Cooties supported the ANZAC Day Observance at the Clark Cemetery. The Observance was sponsored by the Returned & Services League (RSL) of Australia, Angeles City Branch. - Pup Tent 15 Cooties also attended the ANZAC Day Observance at the Coconut Grove Resort in La Union. Grand Commander B.K. Hubbard (Commander, District VII) delivered an address. Attendance included Seam Squirrel Buddy McGuire, Blanket Bum Jerry Prinz and Cooties Ron Barker, Al Mitchell, Ken Schaefer and Tom Elliott. - Grand Commander B.K. Hubbard and Cootie Ken Schaefer attended the installation of the FRA Branch 367 2002-2003 officers on 3 May. - The Pup Tent purchased 50 bathing suits for use by the Angeles City Street Children Swim Calls. The suits will be maintained by and stored at the Clarkview Christian Center. - On 11 May, the Pup Tent hosted a Luncheon/Swim Call for 27 Angeles City Street Children at the Bonanza Hotel. Eight Pup Tent 15 Cooties were present. - On16 May, the Pup Tent officers for the 2002 - 2003 year were installed. The installing officer was Tom Morrison, Kuto - Pup Tent 7. Present were Grand Commander B.K. Hospital visits for the Month: 11 - The Pup Tent was presented a Certificate of Appreciation for support to the Heinz Woelke Blind School in Baguio. - The 33^nd Grand of the Pacific Scratch was hosted by Maeng Das - Pup Tent 6 and held in Pattaya Beach, Thailand on 18 June 2002. This was Commander Hubbard’s second year as Grand of the Pacific Commander. Hospital visits for the month: 28 - Philippine Swarming X was hosted by the Kuripots - Pup Tent 11 at Barrio Barretto on 3 July. Attendees included Seam Squirrel Jerry Prinz, Blanket Bum Al Mitchell, Past Grand Commander John Welsh, Junior Past Seam Squirrel Buddy McGuire, Cooties Ron Barker, Ralph Milward, Ken Schaefer and Cecil “Doc” Johnson. - Seam Squirrel Jerry Prinz attended the installation of 2002 - 2003 officers of the Angeles City DAV Chapter. - The July Scratch was held 20 July. Grand Commander B.K. Hubbard resigned as Pup Tent Blanket Bum. Hide Gimlet Al Mitchell moved up to the position. Hospital visits for the month: 38. - The August Scratch was held 17 August. The Pup Tent Charter was draped in memory of Cootie Roy Banning and his PT number 32 was retired. Cootie Cecil Johnson was elected to the position of Hide Gimlet. Graeme Birkett, former manager of the Bonanza Hotel, briefed the Pup Tent on the problems and the change of management at the hotel. Mr Birkett was presented a Pup Tent -15 plaque for his outstanding support to Pup Tent/Post acti9vities over the years. Cootie Kevin Streble (a PT 15 Taiwan Cootie) won the drawing for a Paddy Daddy membership. Hospital visits for the month: 41 - The name of the Bonanza Hotel, popular social venue for the Post and Pup Tent, was changed to the Ponderosa Hotel. - On 18 August, Seam Squirrel Jerry Prinz attended the RSL Long Tan Day Observance at the Ponderosa Hotel. The Pup Tent donated $25 to help defray expenses. - On 24 August, the Pup Tent hosted a luncheon/swim call for 25 Angeles City Street Children at the Ponderosa Hotel. Seam Squirrel Jerry Prinz and seven Pup Tent 15 Cooties were present. - Grand Commander B.K. Hubbard and Grand Quartermaster Don Webster attended the Supreme Scratch in Nashville, TN, 29-31 August. - Grand Commander B.K. Hubbard and Cootie Gary Kurpius attended the Homecoming for National VFW Commander in Chief Ray Sisk. The Homecoming was held in Ontario, CA, 12 -14 September. - On 11 September, Seam Squirrel Jerry Prinz, Blanket Bum Al Mitchell, Past Grand Commander John Welsh, Cooties Ralph Milward, Werner “Ski” Koslovski, Ron Barker, Ken Schaefer, Buddy McGuire, Stu Dougherty, Earl Dodge, Joe Carsley and Thaddeus Stryminski attended a Patriotic Breakfast at the Post Home. The breakfast was held in memory of those that lost their lives on 11 September 2001. - The Pup Tent received an RSL Letter of Appreciation for supporting the Sub Branch Long Tan Day Observance. - The September Scratch was held 21 September. Hubbard and Grand Council member Al Mitchell attended the October Scratch of Kuripots - Pup Tent 11 at Barrio Barretto. - On 6 October, at the request of the Grand Commander, Pup Tent 15 draped the Grand Charter in memory of Past Grand Commander Everett “Tommy” Tompkins, Honey Bucket Special - Pup Tent 1. Present at the ceremony were Seam Squirrel Jerry Prinz, Blanket Bum Al Mitchell, Hide Gimlet Cecil Johnson, Grand Commander B.K. This marker was sponsored by the General MacArthur Honor Guard Association. - Pinatubo - Pup Tent 15 hosted Swarming XI at the Post Home on 10 November. Seam Squirrel Jerry Prinz, Blanket Bum Al Mitchell, Hide Gimlet Cecil “Doc” Johnson, Grand Commander B.K. Hubbard, Junior Past Seam Squirrel Buddy McGuire, Cooties Ron Barker, Ralph Milward, Joe Carsley, Ken Schaefer, Werner Koslovski and Thaddeus Stryminski were present. Cooties from Kuto - Pup Tent 7, including Past Grand Commander Emory Russell and Kuripots - Pup Tent 11 were also present. - On 7 November, Seam Squirrel Jerry Prinz attended Pup Tent 11 Scratch. In his role as Grand of the Pacific Inspector, successfully inspected the Pup Tent. - Seam Squirrel Jerry Prinz, Blanket Bum Al Mitchell, Hide Gimlet Cecil “Doc” Johnson, Grand Commander B.K. Hubbard and Pup Tent members attended the Veterans Day Observation at the Clark Cemetery on 11 November and the Veterans Day Picnic at the Post Home. - The November Scratch was held on the 23^rd. The Pup Tent fell on hard times and had to auction off their prized possession. This PT 15 jeweled bug was obtained by the Scourge of San Juan (aka, Emory Russell) who wears it at every opportunity to display his fabulous collection of Cootie paraphernalia and just irritate the shit out of PT 15. During recent archaeological diggings in Metropolitan Balibago, a jeweled bug was uncovered by a noted naturalist, bon vivant and used tire salesman, Claude Balls. The world’s leading expert on jeweled bugs and moped carburetor repair, Thurlow T. Fuzznutts, has declared this recently discovered find to be the mate to the famous PT 15 jeweled bug (now know as the Russell Jeweled Bug). Alas, this otherwise happy episode has an unhappy ending. Once again, gloom and despair, not to mention dire financial straits have descended upon PT 15. The Pup Tent has decided to part with their recently discovered jewel. The PT15 Jeweled Bug II will be auctioned off at the Philippine Swarming on 10 November. The sealed bids will be the opened at the conclusion of the auction on 10 November. - Seam Squirrel Al Mitchell and Pup Tent Cookies supported the Veterans Day Observance at the Clark Cemetery and the Post Veterans Day BBQ/Picnic at the Post Home. Veterans Day activities at the cemetery are sponsored by the Post. - The Pup Tent entered a Chili team in the Cootie section of the 12^th Annual Chili Cook-Off at the Bali Hai Resort in La Union on 29 November. Pup Tents vie for the Great Blue Louse Trophy. It was won by Kuripots - Pup Tent 7 for the second year in a row. The Chili Cook-off is sponsored by Post 9892 and Kuto - Pup Tent 7. - Sean Squirrel Al Mitchell and Grand Junior Vice Jerry Prinz and Pup Tent Cooties attended the Grand Mid-Term Scratch. At the Scratch Senior Vice Commander McGurk resigned and in accordance with MOC Regulations, Cootie Prinz was moved up a chair. - On 8 December, the Post hosted a Working Breakfast/Briefing on the Clark Cemetery for National VFW Representatives National Junior Vice Commander James Mueller; National Chief of Staff Frank Burchill; District 16 Councilman Frank Lamson; and candidate for National Junior Vice Commander (2007) Joe Salas. Also in attendance were Department Commander Robert Henault; and numerous Department members. Seam Squirrel Al Mitchell and Cemetery Maintenance Supervisor Ed Rubio conducted the briefing. The group was invited to a walking tour/brief of the cemetery after the breakfast/briefing. - In accordance with VFW Commander in Chief Edward Banas request that each Post dedicate a Liberty Tree. The Post chose a tree located in the confines of the Clark Cemetery. The dedication ceremony was held at 1000 hours 8 December. Numerous Pup Tent/Post members, and visitors were in attendance. - On the evening of 8 December, the Post hosted a reception for the National visitors. Approximately 50 Post members/Cooties, guests and supporters were present. - The December Scratch was held on 20 December. The 40^th Division, US Army liberated Banbam on 23 January 1945. The liberation of this area was precursor to the liberation of Clark Field. The Commemoration was sponsored by the Banbam Historical Society. - Pup Tent members, including Grand Senior Vice Commander Jerry Prinz supported the VFW Post 124 Fun Day on 4 February - On the morning of 5 February, prior to the District meeting, Pup Tent and VFW Post 2485 members paid their annual visit to the Heinz Woelke Blind School in Baguio. The Pup Tent and the Post donated a large supply of peanut butter and mayonnaise to the school. A cash donation of 10,000 pesos was also made. - On 5 February, Post 124 hosted the Quarterly District VII Meeting at the Sarfari Lodge in Baguio. Both Pup Tent and Post members were in attendance. - Pup Tent members attended the Annual Barrio Beach Bash, 13-15 February, in Barrio Barretto The Beach Bash is sponsored by Post 11447 and Kuripots - Put Tent 11. - The February Scratch was held 21 February. Attending the Scratch were Grand Senior Vice Commander Jerry Prinz and Past Grand Commander John Welsh. Hospital visits for the month: 101. - On 25 February, Pup Tent members, including Grand Senior Vice Commander Jerry Prinz, attended a wake for longtime resident of the Philippines, Don Jones. Don was a big supported or the Clark Cemetery and one of the Design Engineers of the current Post 2485 Post Home. - On 4 March, Grand Senior Vice Commander Jerry Prinz installed the 2004-2005 Shavetails of Kuripots - Pup Tent 11. The installation took place at the VFW 11447 Post Home in Barrio Barretto. - The Pup Tent held the Quarterly Street Children’s Swim Party/Lunch for 24 kids on 13 March. The event was held at the Ponderosa Hotel in Angeles City. Eight Pup Tent Cooties were present. - On 20 March, Grand Senior Vice Commander Jerry Prinz installed the 2004-2005 Shavetails of the Pup Tent. The installation took place at the VFW 2485 Post Home in Angeles City. This was also the occasion of Grand Senior Vice Prinz’s Homecoming to his Pup Tent. JULY 2008 On 1 July, membership stood at 43. 32 Life and 11 Annual. 8 JUL – Monthly Scratch was held with seven (7) Cooties in attendance. Cootie Jim Luther was approved for transfer to the Pup Tent. Seam Squirrel read a letter of thank you for the Pup Tent’s donation to the American Red Cross. It was announced that long time Cootie PSS Sandy Saunders from Pup Tent 11 had passed away after a long illness. Post 2485 has provided space on the new Post Bulletin Board to post pictures of the top 3 chairs and other Pup Tent information. PGC Prinz presented new Grand Commander’s pin to Seam Squirrel Carsley. The Seam Squirrel presented hospital pins and patches to Cooties William Johnson and Ralph Milward for their efforts in the Hospital Program for last year. The 50/50 drawing was won by new Cootie Jim Luther in the amount of P550. The Pup Tent was successfully inspected at this Scratch by Grand Dep. Inspector Jim Correll. 18-19 JUL – District Meeting and Philippine Pup Tent Swarming was held in Subic Bay hosted by Post 11447 and Pup Tent 11. Representing Pup Tent 15 were SS Joe Carsley, PGC Prinz and GSVC Mitchell. AUGUST 2008 On 1 August, membership stood at 32 Life. 11 Annual not yet renewed. 12 AUG – Monthly Scratch was held, with eight (8) Cooties in attendance. CCDB Report: Opening Balance - $922.06. Our Pup Tent was well represented by GSVC Al Mitchell. 30 AUG – Children’s Street Kids Swim Party, hosted by Pup Tent 15, was held at the Clark Officers Club Pool. Food and drinks were served to the kids and more suitable libations for the Cooties in attendance. Ably arranged and supervised by HG John Welsh and Bryan Usher. SEPTEMBER 2008 On 1 September, membership still is at 32 Life. 11 Annual yet to renew. 9 SEP – Monthly Scratch was held, with eight (8) Cooties in attendance. CCDB Report: Opening Balance - $870.80. Pup Tent received an invitation to participate in the 17^th Annual Chili Cook-Off, sponsored by Post 9892 in Buaung, LaUnion on 29 November. Tabled until next month. HG John Welsh presented the CCDB with the second installment of his pledged donation of $500. Way to go, Cootie John. Certificates of Awards were presented to Cootie William Johnson. Most were for Hospital Work, but there was one for when he was Seam Squirrel. An unknown individual was the recipient of P450 for the 50/50 raffle.
