and 3rd degrees, due to vacancy in Shavetail roster.

Distinction for achieving 100% in Hospital Work, Grand Pup Tent of the
Pacific Citation of Merit for rendering outstanding support to National
Home Special Projects by achieving 103.85% of the Grand Goal, Grand Pup
Tent of the Pacific Citation of Merit for achieving 100% in
Membership, Grand Pup Tent of the Pacific Certificate of Recognition
for Meritorious Service rendered to the Hospital Program, American
Legion Post 123 Certificate of Appreciation for valuable contributions
to Post 123’s Memorial Day and 25th anniversary celebration.

- Visitors of note: Grand Commander B.K. Hubbard and Grand Council
Member Al Mitchell.
- Grand Commander B. K. Hubbard addressed the PT concerning the recent
Supreme Scratch and noted that while Pacific won many awards, in order
to cop the best of Supreme we must increase our membership.
- Post of Historian/KCR vacated due continued absence of incumbent.
Cootie Saunders volunteered and was nominated and elected to post of KCR.
Cootie Billman accepted post of Hungry Cootie.
- 22 Cooties visited 24 patients over 72 hours. Assistance was provided
to 40 widows. Members attended 3 funerals.
November 7, 2002
SCRATCH
- Visitor of note: Grand Inspector and PT 15 SS Jerry Prinz. He
invited all Coots to attend Swarming hosted by PT 15 on 10 November and
Veteran’s Day Observance at Clark Cemetery on 11 November.

DAY
- Several Cooties attended Swarming at PT 15 yesterday and also attend the
Veterans’Day ceremonies at Clark Cemetery. The SS and Hide Gimlet
performed the Fleet
Reserve Association’s Two Bell Ceremony.

ANNUAL CHILI COOK OFF
- PT 11
participated in Post 9892’s Annual Chili Cook Off. While not winning
the Best Chili award (1st and 2nd place went to
some other Posts), we did come in first in the Philippine Pup Tent
contest. We now have custody of The Great Blue Louse.

- The Great Blue Louse, wearing a Grand Soup Shag was welcomed to the PT.
He will grace our Kuripots’ Korner for at LEAST one year.

- The Pup Tent hosted a very successful social for all C of A attendees.

SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM CHRISTMAS PARTY
- 34 Amerasian
scholars attended the annual Scholarship Program Christmas Party at the
Post home. The children met Santa and received presents from their Post
and Pup Tent sponsors. After having their pictures taken with Santa,
they departed for the home of Blanket Bum Seth Hendricks and his wife
Carmen. There they ate lunch and participated in several contests with
everyone winning a prize.
January 2, 2003 SCRATCH
- Nominations for the next term were opened and will remain open until
next Scratch when elections will be held.

- Grand Commander Hubbard gave a short talk emphasizing importance of
meeting membership goals.
- Following a
short intermission, the Grand Commander installed the shavetails of PT
11 for the coming term. Cocktails and pupus were furnished by the
outgoing/incoming SS.
April 3, 2003 SCRATCH

made hospital visits to 15 patients.
May 1, 2003 SCRATCH
- Atom James E. Correll initiated into 1st degree. We have
met Grand Membership Quota.
- Hospital
Reports quota at 175% with a good chance of reaching 200% by end of
term.

2003 VFW FAMILY DAY CLINIC
- VFW Family
Day Picnic held and many Vets and Cooties were entertained at Apo
Complex. All committee members were Cooties.
June 5, 2003 SCRATCH
- Application received from Earl G. Sullivan . Approved and forwarded to
Post Adjutant.
- Nit Correll initiated into 2nd degree. After a short
break, Grayback Correll initiated into 3rd degree.
- E-mails from Grand Commander and Grand Quartermaster read
congratulating PT 11 on reaching the Grand quota for membership.
- Hospital Chairman reports Hospital Reports are over 200% of quota. SS
then read an E-mail from Grand Hospital Chairman to Grand Commander
reporting that PT 11 is at 209.4% of quota.
- PT 11 pins – a blue jeepney with appropriate lettering arrived and
will be on sale for P300.
- Jim Billman
elected as PT delegate to Grand Scratch in Pattaya, Thailand. He and
Cootie Gene Gann will attend Department Convention and Grand Scratch.

COOK OFF
- Pup
Tent lost custody of the Great Blue Louse to Pup Tent 7, the original
owners. However, on our return to Subic Bay, the GBL was observed
hitchhiking and seeking a ride to the upcoming Mid Term CofA. We
promptly came to the aid of a Cootie in distress.
December 3, 2003
SCRATCH
- Distinguished visitors attending were Grand Inspector Dave Teets and PT
303 Shyster Jerry Hudson. Long time visitor and recent transferee Larry
Lyons attended his first Scratch as PT 11 member. The GBL also attended
after a short absence.

- Pup Tent again assisted in a very successful Beach Bash. SS Burns and
Post Commander Cootie Billman again led off the parade down Beach
Boulevard. Sno-Cones and the Dunk Tank both did quite well.

meeting held on 14th for 3 year Tightwad due vacancy. Cootie
Billman nominated and elected. Cootie Bristle to move to 2 year TW and
Cootie Levesque to move to 1 year TW.

- Budget approved.
- Received E-mail from Grand Quartermaster advising that Cooties Bill
Wichmann and Orville Humfleet, from Taiwan have transferred to PT 11.
This brings us to a total of 33 and still growing.
- Cootie #40, Post Commander Jim Billman reported on Grand Scratch and
Convention. John Randle Fund remains in effect. We are to receive a
Plaque for being over 200% in Hospital Reporting for the second year in
a row.
- SS Burns presented PT with Supreme plaque for assisting Post in
reaching 100% in membership, also Grand Certificate of Merit for being
over 100% in Hospital visits. Hospital Chairman Alvarez received Grand
Certificate of Recognition for his efforts in reaching more than 100% in
Hospital reporting.
July 9, 2004
SWARMING
- Special guests were introduced: Grand SVC and Grand Booster Chairman
Jerry Prinz; Supreme District 15 Council Member and PT 7 SS Emory
Russell; Grand Council District 7 Member and PSS PT 7 Dave Ramson; Post
124 Commander Cisco Francisco; and Post 2485 Commander and PSS PT 15 Al
Mitchell.
- Grand SVC brought greetings from Grand Commander Sass. John Randle
Fund remains. And as Booster Chairman reminded that all PTs have to
maintain Booster efforts in supporting the Posts.
- Supreme Council Member Russell said all should try to improve
Convention Yearbook. PT 7 SS Russell made a substantial donation due to
the absence of the Great Blue Louse. This is the second swarming in a
row that the GBL has missed. Last one was at PT 7!!!
- Swarming
was followed by a Cootie Social at the Asian Reef. A Grand time was had
by all.
August 5, 2004
SCRATCH
- SS asked for applications. One completed application was received
from Grand. Our newest Cootie, John Davis, Commander VFW Post 3457,
Saipan was initiated in all Degrees at Grand Scratch in June on Saipan.
Nit Truax was initiated into 2nd Degree and after a short
recess Grayback Truax was initiated into the 3rd Degreee.
- Cootie #45, PSS Burns seconded motion to adopt an “Early Bird” program
reducing annual dues by $5 from now to October Scratch. Cootie #12, PSS
Saunders made the motion. Carried.
- PSS Burns presented a Past Seam Squirrel Shag to PSS Bristle.
September 2, 2004
SCRATCH
- E-mail from GVC/Booster Chairman Prinz reports that Cootie Larry
Lyons has transferred to PT 303, Kimchi Kats , but as transfer is not
final yet, his super recruiting efforts will continue to be credited to
PT 11.
- PSS Burns presented a Past Seam Squirrel Shag to PSS Billman.
