- PT 11 was formerly TT’s - Pup Tent 11 in Taipei, Taiwan.  The Charter was surrendered due to lack of members and potential members.  The number was subsequently assigned to the new Pup Tent at Barrio Barretto.

- In late 1993 the idea of forming a Pup Tent in the Military Order of the Cootie (MOC) was discussed at the CofA and with VFW Post 11447 Commander Jerry Bristle.

- A motion was put before the membership of VFW Post 11447 on January 13, 1994 to form the first MOC. Pup Tent in the Philippines.  The motion to form a Pup Tent was approved. Commander Jerry Bristle appointed an Ad Hoc Committee of himself, Comrades Harland Saunders, Dave Dunn, Keith Walter, and Rich Groscost to screen and recommend potential candidates for membership.  Since Comrade Walter was the only member to have ever been a Cootie, he was instrumental in guiding the Committee through the early stages of inquiry and procedure.  The Committee's list of candidates was presented to the Post membership at the March 10 meeting for individual approval.  From this list came the Charter Members of the Pup Tent.

- The first formal organizational meeting was held March 16, 1994.   Provisional election of Officers included:

Seam Squirrel Keith Walter
Blanket Bum Dale Perce
Hide Gimlet Dave Dunn
CCDB Joseph Le Blanc
Shyster Jerry Bristle

Tightwad 1 yr Tom Herron

  * Provisional appointees included:

  * Dues were established at $25 a year, with a $25 initiation fee
  * Scratches set for 1st Wednesday of each month at 1000

- The second organizational meeting was held on 4 May 1994.  Installation and initiation were set for 12 June1994 at Oasis Hotel in Angeles City, prior to Grand Scratch.  Cootie numbers were assigned.  It was announced that Supreme Junior Vice Commander Gary Strauss would be the installing officer.  There was an instructional discussion of Cootie Degrees.

- A special meeting was held on 1 June 1994.  Eighteen Charter members given instructions on procedures for 12 June Installation
